Little Trade Ideas

The biggest problem if the trade for the people who have just started is the limitation in the range of products that the high-quality producers are willing to buy. Let's see what a newbie could produce:
- baked goods and the cheese;
- forage (curios, food ingredients);
- metal (mostly common metals);
- river pearls;
- all sorts of low quality clothes as a result of harvesting their flax/hemp or recycling leather;
- leather (has the highest demand for the sieges);
- sub tokens;
- local resources (if very lucky).

Meanwhile, the HQ producers can offer everything listed above + all sorts of equipment, workstations, clothing, weapons & armor, jewellery, wood, coal and etc. The situation is neither beneficial nor for the producer, nor for the newbie. IMHO, the future updates should focus on/take into the consideration the following suggestions:

- implement curiosities that would require metals and would not use the metal quality for the final calculation. As a result, the metal, provided by the noobs, will be more demanded. People would actually prefer to buy the low q. metal, instead of using their hq.resourses.

- implement new structures/curiosities that would require to use any q. of steel. Steel used to cost a lot in the Legacy. It has also been an alternative way of payment to the pearls. I do not think everyone would prefer to endlessly pick mussels, while they could benefit from their village life directly.

- implement new ways to use the low quality cloths and the leather: use them for the curios and do not count the quality for the final result; use them for the structures that can be mass spammed (decorations, kingdom structures, tents for regaining the stamina or whatever).

- dive into creating complex curios (consisting of foregables), that would give a lot of LP (but would be less efficient in LP/h). People would be willing to buy them for the Ice cracking. Generally, the foraged curios or food ingredients should be improved.

- use the foragable curios for potions that boost LP/XP/Combat stats (like tusk snort).

I like the idea of ignoring quality so you can buy low q metal and such for curios. Also having rare forageables that would be good for icicles but poor LP/hour would be a good way for noobs to trade.

The rest are pretty meh.

I am many others i've seen actually buy any quality of Copper/Iron from any "noobie" that is willing to sell.
Also don't forget Ant Queens/Empresses are also bought, Cavebulbs were on sale for quite some time in Community Fair market as well and seemed to sell pretty well (You should use your char and visit community fair stands I think and take a look at what people are buying.

Also I do agree that steel needs a better sink into the game, Legacy it was used for Statues to increase village size/authority but that's not the case for Hafen and even if you were to put all these outside to claim more like (like it use to be) can just siege a single banner/statue and the whole place's shield goes down. So for that to work there needs to be a rework of the shield system.

Atm all I see low ql hemp/flax fibres being used for in trades would be the mass production of wallgrade Linen cloth/hemp cloth and Ropes since then quality doesn't matter, but are still useful for trading wise.

How about the ability to "upgrade" the quality for production material ? ie: Turning 10 pieces of lower grade metal / leather into higher quality ones (Or using the lower grade material as "agents", which is used to upgrade the target material's quality)

I think it's bad enough that metal can be spiraled, giving the incentive to mass-mine it (korean grind style).

High Q anvils fix the problem with low Q metal, don't they?

Sinks for metals, I agree with.
