Unique quest dungeons

Make a quest that has like almost 0% chance to get where you gotta go to a dungeon to kill an albino bear! Make it so it has some cool powers like rusalka boots (EDIT: The cape you made out of its hide).

ye BOI, I WANT MORE RARE ITEMS, THAT ARE ACTUALLY RARE. the only rare item is devcapes in the game, that is all

I'd like there to be rare items, gotten via questing and/or the dungeons, it does add to a game.

You can tell it's an important point because it's in all caps.

There are no truly rare items in haven. Items that had the potential to be so, like gemstones, are not. Many other threads have suggested rare stuff earned through random chance or supreme effort, like a rare wood and stone color found deadly terrains, random rare features imbued in weapons upon crafting, and animals that spawn only rarely and give rare parts (like white bears).

Whenever we do make things truly rare, we get complaints about accessibility, and how noobs can't get XYZ. Was definitely the case for gemstones, for example.

i'd like to say that jotun brilliant diamonds are rare enough. And i think it should stay that way.

even finding a jotun rough diamond is really rare, and then successfully cutting it 5 times at a chance of 75%.. leaves about 24% of jotun diamonds found into something useful, because all other versions of diamonds have no UA.

Our gemcutter has a softcap of 850 on gemcutting, but we haven't gotten a single jotun brilliant diamond since the day they were added (when they were buggedly common). And we actually mine a lot.

I think though that we should have ways to get better than 75% chance to successfully cut gems because it's really heartbreaking to destroy more than 75% of your jotun roughs.
