So I recently got back into the game to exclusively sell sketches.
While at the Community Fair I noticed something, blueberries, troll mushrooms, and Chiming Bluebells were plentiful and pretty cheap. And while initially troll mushrooms and bluebells may take a longtime to grow, simply making more garden pots solves this problem because crops multiply!
But that's just the thing though, I feel as though foragables shouldn't become crops. Garden Pots seriously reduce the need to leave your walls, and they also over saturate the market with these once valuable curios.
I'm not suggesting to get rid of Garden Pots or to prevent us from planting these items, but rather tweak it.
Some ideas:
Foragables become "domesticated" once planted, and "domesticated" versions have completely different FEPs.
Troll Mushrooms, Chiming Bluebells and other otherwise insanely rare foragables require Bat Guano. It was suggested by another that Notes of a Foul Symphony could be used with Chiming Bluebells.
OR, increase the time it takes to grow these foragables, and have other items (Spring Water, Bat Guano, Foul Symphony) to speed up the time. Although I would prefer just having the items be a requirement to begin with.
Maybe it's just me but I feel in games items should be, especially the more valuable ones, should be earned, not farmed.
