In case it's forget about claim permissions this would be fine, but people quite often claim areas just to deny them to others and do not use them at all afterwards.
While I don't want to see the ability to own multiple personal claims be removed... I think a character should not be able to maintain a claim it never visits.
I suggest that claims should track the timestamp the owner - while having the bond in inventory/mentory - last entered the claim (be it from walking onto it or logging in on it), should that last visit be longer ago than an ingame week the claim should simple no longer generate presence from studying curiosities.
This would change nothing for normal use, just attach a reasonable cost (you don't check on your stuff = you don't deserve it) to maintaining multiple claims.
