its weird as hell, but people in cold regions tend to like it. seems like it might fit with havens theme.

Unless it would give very big satiations reductions, there is no point in another drink that is super-costly. Butter is not that easy to make, provided that you are not using bots: a) you are better off using this milk for cheese; b) you are better off using the butter for foods (summing up, there is no need for milk/butter sink); c) other drinks are much simpler in production and the new drink might end up being unused; c) it's not fitting into the scandinavian-slavic setting (although implementing things like opium and shisha seems to indicate the devs losening up) + there are many other drinks that could be implemented before something so exotic.

Okay, then maybe after some more material-friendly drinks are released there can be one or a few new exotic beverages.Then again, just giving it a high enough satiation reduction would make it worth the trouble of making butter and that'd be that.

I do not have any. And nah, what you are suggesting is not that easy to make compared to all other drinks. You do not have the option to auto-drink while crafting, so you would have to always come back to your screen and press drink every 2-3 mins + make the tea with a boiling cauldron (refilling cauldron and drinking) or another ready-made tea or whatever. The whole process doesn't end up with just producing a butter in a churn.

Bring the cups of water to a boil, and then turn down the heat.
Put the 2 spoons of tea in the water and continue to boil for a couple of minutes, then strain.
Combine the tea, salt, butter and milk or half and half in the blender and blend for 2-3 minutes –the longer the better.

Mechanically, of course, the devs could adjust it so that you will get 5+l of tea from 1 butter (instead of 1l=1butter), they could make it so that you would just have to use tea leaves and a boiling cauldron without any teapots and etc. etc.

it probably would be. but it wouldnt stop people from doing so if the satiations were worth it.

They do cover the majority of the food that is mass-produced. Cheese = wine, bread = tea, meats/sausages/fish = beer and etc. I doubt there are dozens of hundreds of mushroom and omelette eaters. Now it's time for you to argue that the devs should make a new satiation for every single food that could be reduced by the butter tea (ew).
