Make wild animals run when whistling and clapping.

Could have a chance for non-aggressive animals to get mad and come after you also just for kicks.

I think a chance of them aborting their attack (given that the animal initiated combat and you didn't strike at it before trying to shoo it) could be a thing.

Also dropping their prefered food could give a chance for them to drop combat (in case you're not aggressive toward them).

Possibility to sneak up on big animals would be nice too as it would buff bow hunters.
Basically more interactions to have with them.

Why would Fox or Badger care? I guess critters (not shnakes) could run away but others should even quickly engage.
Also, why not make it unique to deers (and mooses maybe?), that they start to run.

You can scare bears and any other animals away like this irl.
I have snuk up on 2 moose irl and then scare them away with noise.

And I have come with Deer face to face. Then it noticed a squirrel running between us and started to run. It doesn't prove a shit to me tbh. Also, I've seen so many road kills because animals don't care for lights or noises. Heck, even once saw a car hitting a boar. Guess what? 1:0 for Boar.

We just have different experiences.

Cant compare cars to a nature setting. Animals can be confused with man made environments and act unexpectedly. In nature loud noise means "get away from me". There are frogs that use "REEEEEEEEEE" to scare predators away.
They even teach you to scare away bears here with noise.

Because honking horn isn't a loud noise?

In my area, boars don't give a fudge about any sort of noise. Even direct poking with sticks doesn't bother them. They only become really aggresive around babies or when very hungry (who wouldn't in that situation?).

Whistling doesn't work on deers close to human life area either.
