Two-Handed tools in one hand, require both to use

Postby linkfanpc » Tue Aug 14, 2018 4:22 pm

We should be able to hold two-handed tools in one hand, such as a pickaxe or scythe, and be able to equip other things in the other hand, but you need the other hand free to actually use the two-handed tool. Could allow this only for tools so that you can't have, like, a B12 and shield, and keep shield on except remove when attacking, then reequip, etc.

Would make harvesting small farm fields easier, harvest with scythe, equip traveler's sack, pick up plant fibers/straw/whatever, put in stockpile, unequip traveler's sack, repeat.
Total misplay.

You can use belt to stash scythe and equip two tsacks.

It may be confusing if you can equip tool but not use it.

I like this idea a lot. I don't know how easy it would be to implement, but it would remove the UI pain of finding the belt window for basic hauling.

Universal tool to make all the things would be nice!

I like this idea better - solves the same thing, but more elegant and universal.
