What happens when you try? Is it not allowed or does it just appear as invisible?

Most animals just can't go in. Additional note, stalagoomas can't go in as well but also don't even visibly appear on study tables.

Nothing happens. They just won't go in.

Makes sense to me. If I can store frogs in my cupboard, I see no reason they shouldn't go in the display stand.

So I tried a few different animals:
Frogs don't work.
Toads don't work.
Rats don't work.
Quails don't work.
Grubs don't work.
Chicks don't work.
Baby bunnies don't work.
Lizards don't work.
Spiders don't work.
Fireflies don't work.
Ants work! But I think they might be dead. They don't move.
The bee that stung works but it's definitely dead, it just lays there.
Fish work but obviously, they're dead.

But yes, +1 ... being able to put the critters into the display cases would be great! I would love to have all the insects on display, grasshoppers, ladybugs, cave centipedes, as well as the others mentioned above.
