Hey, man!
How often you find a non-touched dead animal? You may wonder what happened to them. maybe some disease or a new beast hunt them? Nope, it was some random guy walking around killing all critters without any reason or trying to find q500 bear. You may like such gifts, but let's get under the skin of The Hunter. You'll find nothing but boredness there. Once u killed a bear, there is no passion to kill other, it becomes a dry and unfun profession. Such a life...
But what if I say you, that every kill would count? What is every kill would become useful for The Hunter itself? What if the more you kill, the better you are as a Hunter?

For the beginning: new Skill - The Beast Master.
Top skill akin Druidic Lore or Deep Artifice, so 150LP to study and 100 Lore for open
Grants you an ability to fulfill info in beastiare tab

What is Beastiare?

So what it is?
After you've got a skill, you would add some info about a certain animal after each fight you won. The more Prec*Lore you have - the better chance to add some new info.
When you become a Known Hunter - you can have quick access to all info of any in-game animal to share with your appreciates

Why do we need it?
It is cool. Obviously.
It would make every animal fight useful.
It is something to do when you have nothing to do.
As an addition, some info may be uncovered only with specific credos (like only Hunter can reveal combat moves and only Strider can reveal an area of spawn) - so we can get rid of numeral credos bonuses in preference of unique perks.
And finally, it is cool.

That's pretty cool, but I'd never use it for the same reason I never used cartography in legacy

you'd have to give any sort of function like this an actual functional use beyond what a wiki can do to make it useful to me

I like it.

However, I'm not sure whether I prefer that or player made bestiaries. If books were implemented, players could make and trade their own information about animals.

perhaps this idea would coincide well with animals that no longer just had a predetermined amount of stats. Maybe during the world generation process, the world generates stats that fluctuate so that a true bestiary would make sense in this thread. Or maybe just certain locales. Actually better yet, what if animals had names determined by their location so that animals of a certain location could truly be unique, which would play into this idea more. Like a southern Savannah Boar or something, perhaps it looks different.

Seems like a lot more has to be in place to make this an idea and not just an ingame wiki
