In late game it is useless.
Let's just think about attributes:
1) Strength is super important (Affects damage inflicted)
2) Agility is very important (Decreases your attack cooldowns)
3) Intelligence is important (Determines the visibility and quantity of the scents)
4) Constitution is super important (Affects Max Hit Points)
5) Perception is very important (if you using Ranger's Bow and looking for scents)
6) Charisma is not too important for bonfire and authority (I do not know a character who would have more than 1000)
7) Dexterity is not too important (I am thinking 1500 is max for game)
8) Will is low important (Many call it - "noob attribute")
9) Psyche is not too important (Jewelry).
