animal cape stats should be boosted or changed
They are way to low to consider over armor.
and they take up 2 slots. cape and hat.

a 10q wing helm (vs q50 cape) has more value to it namely because of it's armor rating.


I suggest boosting the stats higher by x3 the amount.

also allow head slot to other hats.
if you equip a helmet/hat. cape base stat (not gilds) are reduce by X/3 and the capes hood gets pulled backlike a normal hoodie, so you can see the animal head on the back.

100% agreed. I like some of the animal capes in terms of aesthetics but they will never ever be more viable than wearing a head item + a 1 slot cape.
x3 bonus also makes sense considering the animal capes take 2 slots but only provide 1 set of of gilds vs the 2 you'd potentially be able to get without the animal cape, or just 1 gilded cloak + an armoured headpiece.

I debated suggesting they should start with two gild slots open rather than one, but that would only really make them an early game thing. Honestly capes should just "cosmetically" hide helmets and go over them rather than taking up the head slot as well. At least as they're implemented.

I miss bearcapes being great, a lot of us older players are pretty nostalgic about them and want them to be good/worth wearing.

I agree capes, all of them need a buff, but I also feel they are an early game gear so nt buffed too much imo

I agree that capes should at least allow you to wear helms over the hood.

It should have some interesting effects rather than just better stats.

I don't understand why the capes aren't just their own thing. You should be able to wear a cape and a helmet without issue, with the cape taking visual precedence over whatever's held in the head slot if it has a head piece.
