New key for gates, less than master key, more than slave key

Simpel make a new gate / new lock for the gates or a new key where you do not need the master key to walk through it from both ways.

Maybe a "Sub-Master Key" where it works like a master key except you can not change the locks, for example.

Good idea. Key to open gate from both sides but not able to change the lock would be nice addition indeed!

So we will have three tier of key:
  • Master key - Change locks, open door from either side.
  • House slave key - Open door from either side.
  • Field slave key - Open door from inside only.
I guess this seem reasonable to me, though I am not sure how needed it really is.

There should be three variations

-Slave Key: Does exactly as it does currently, only works to open gates from the inside.
-Master Key: Again, same functionality as before. Can be used to change locks.
-Key: Works like you would expect any regular key to work. Can be used from both the inside and outside, but cannot be used to change locks.

You can always use glass key if You're lazy to do two gates leading into opposite direction.

-1 for bi directional slave key its to risky just HF back in if you need to open a gate

Meanwhile, smarter players would still be using slave keys and a poor noob who didn't know any better would use this new key. Don't think something like this is really needed.

according to the wiki "Glass keys can only be used to open gates from inside"

and it would take a lot longer to make enough of these anyway

Just place two gates in a row that open in different directions and use the slave key.
