Fire from magnifying glass

it would be an interesting idea if you could light fires by using magnifying glasses on burnable objects(such as campfires, torches, etc), this would take significantly more time than lighting from sticks (3-4x longer) and must be done during the day, or if its possible, it could be more of a light a piece of parchment on fire and use that as a firebrand, still not consuming the magnifying glass, but consuming a piece of parchment instead to make something similar to a pyrite spark or firebrand(still must be done during the day). speed in lighting the fire could decrease based on the quality of the magnifying glass. this would give the magnifying glass a bit more use as its currently not the best curio and i doubt anyone really makes them at this moment.

fun fact the magnifying glass is actually the literal worst crafted curio for lp/hr/weight iirc, with a grand total of "2." a shewbread of modern times.

What's the point? Sounds like a slower, more expensive alternative to lighting sticks.

A: It would not consume stamina(or if it did it would be a really small amount as opposed to half your stamina bar)
B: It would be an alternative way to light fires, or possibly a fuel less way of lighting a fire(if its not the second idea i posted)
C: The magnifying glass is pretty useless, and i just want to see it get some love
D: The magnifying glass would not be consumed in the process, so you would only need to make it one time, then you can light however many fires you wanted with it(provided it is day)
E: The magnifying glass is actually not that expensive, only a bar of tin and a couple glass pieces. Of course tin is metal, and metal is a bit difficult to obtain early on or for a hermit, but the ability to reuse a fire starter would be worth its weight in tin.

Tbh if you dont like it you wouldnt really have to make it but i know a lot of people would probably use it, specially since it dosnt cost half your stamina for only a chance to light your fire, or two catsgold, or brimstone+tar. even if it needed some parchment, hide is extremely easy to obtain.
