New wall system suggestion

Building palis and bwalls is way too unfun and boring, I have a few suggestions to make it more interactive.

First off, quality should matter for soak and maybe also the health of the wall, thinking like 3 soak at q10 and 4 soak for bwall.

But q grinding is boring so what would be nice is to add a random offset to the soak, say +2/-2 that would also scale with the quality. This would result in interactive wall building and fun ensured (high quality wall should not always be a good wall). Maybe hardcap the built quality by masonry?

Like build a wall segment and try to break it to see if the soak is high enough. If it is not high enough, we need to break it and rebuild it to get a better roll.

This would make raiding more fun, looking for weak spots that were forgotten!

Also please make decay ticks affects all the walls, even the claimed one. Soak should also be proportional to the health of the wall, rounded down. So a pali with 6 maximal soak, with a health of 49% would have 2 of effective soak. That way we would need to repair walls and could raid lazy people!

Finally get the wood color to show up so that we can make fancy palis.

I'm saddened you couldn't see the potential in this thread. I'm truly enthusiastic about it and hoped you would rally to it, jorb pmed me and wants to include some of this in the next patch.

Soak of 4 for brickwall would mean that you can walk through a q80 one with 169STR and a sledgehammer.
This is the equivalent of 'remove walls' as the usual suspects would burn everything to the ground, because they could.
Wall bashing was always a bad mechanic, this would bring it back.

It might be different in case it would be combined with something like this or that to get the meachanic away from base death.

It's base soak of 4, q90 would be soak of 12 also remember the random offset.

With just q40 you could be 8 + 4.
