What is point of tea?

Is there a bug? Should it do something?
If it already does something, maybe there could be a clear indication in game telling what this is.

I believe drinks like tea, beers, and wine will reduce the satiations you get from other foods. I think tea is bread, so if you eat a lot of bread, you drink tea, now you can eat more bread.

Drinks should either tell you what satiations they reduce OR give small buff (like to 150%) when consumed, so it would be more obvious what they do.
