the better idea is to make the exp*perc sum affect the yield you can collect. example and dont take numbers seriously, just as example:
perc*exp sum requires to see lingonberries is 500, there is 50% chance it will yield another one to be able to be picked up if the player met the requirement of 500*2 and then another one if 1000*2 and so on, giving the foraging progres value with lowest tier forageables as well as giving them some sort of river mussle feeling
