Remove tresspassing in boats

These guys near us have set up several pclaims running from the shore into the deep ocean (and some rivers too), for the sole purpose of forcing people to tresspass on them, giving them scents to track down and steal from/kill.

It's an island base of known raiders at (14,-106), and soon after I tresspassed on one of these claims, they showed up and stole some junk I had lying in the knarr.
Also it's just really annoying to set a long course on the map in ardeness, and have it interrupted halfway through by a tresspass confirmation.
There's no reason that tresspassing should exist on a boat.
Please remove it.

I've been planning of spamming rivers full of pclaims and then drop them full of dugouts, to show devs that something should be done to address the tresspassing issue. (And issue of blocking rivers easily by pclaim and dugouts)

Why does no tresspassing block movement on a pclaim but not a vclaim :?:

Movement blocking is cancer, everything should be like vclaims, problem solved.

If it's not fenced? Good point.

@jorb, @loftar: Since you can no longer ruin a node by harvesting it (acre clay excepted), what's the point of vandalism on clay and soil nodes?

its theft to dig clay as it should be because you are depriving that node of clay for some time, digging soil lowers the terrain and can be used to grief someone quite easily if it wasn't a crime.

Don't know what the issue with the soil is, but I just have our soil guy haul all of my slag to the hole and fill it in. Exploit? Maybe. Seems like jorb & loftar know about it. You might be able to lower the land, but do you know how far down you have to dig before you can't dig anymore? I don't. Add to that you can add literally anything that is "soil" to the spot and it becomes the quality of dirt that you're trying to dig out. It is actually a null issue to me at this time and unless mechanics change.

I'll grant your point on the clay as it does take about 8 real hours (one game day) to regenerate. i still don't think it's a big a deal as it was in legacy, but viewpoints will differ on that.

I lost a char already to those f**cking claims deep into ocean ... anyways devs decision for the need of tresspassing on water claims is just another example of favouring asshattery too often ... prolly a toggle at claim management would come in handy so you won't need to allow tresspassing on all your claim but on water only ....

Can we haz barbedwire too nao ?!? Moa pain ... :P
(and more place for new birds to sit ;) )
