Memories of Pain - give it a power!

It was an interesting experiment, but for now in the game MoP can be used only for roleplaying purposes.
I offer to give some meaning to this tag, and make it desirable for one case and undesirable for another.

For example:
Memories of pain on a weapon - enhances damage of the weapon (maybe somethng like 15-20%)
Memories of pain on armor/wearable item - prevents health regeneration and wound healing (even when treated)
Memories of pain on a curiosity - increases learning points (maybe something like 25%?)
Memories of pain on a food item - gives a negative CON fep (maybe abound 25% of total food item FEPs), which counts as a regular FEP, just if there's a chance to trigger it, it damages CON permanently instead of rising it.

Interesting idea. Some actual modifiers from itesm with memories of pain may be cool.

Funny idea but you are essentially only making it either undesired or mandatory to have this effect on certain subjects so I'd rather not see it in the game in such a powerful way.

Perhaps a slight buff of 1-3% regarding silk quality or something small. But the things you proposed are very strong haha.

Adding more mandatory things on top of credos and the already existing "regular" gameplay is undesired in every form in my opinion

Very easy thing to do would be to just reduce effects of the quality on all items by like 10% if the item has memories of pain. This way maybe the world wouldn't become so polluted with them.

rather than just go with memories of pain, they can make it something new and interesting if they are going to give it a hard and meaningful implementation.

Memories of pain seems too easy to force and it would just be farmed, but maybe if some "blessed," "exalted," "hallowed" type of effect could appear on resources under way more random and non-player controlled circumstances it would be more special. Like maybe an Ent under certain circumstance can bless a resource it walks over. Or maybe a totally random thing like a meteor happens in some location, something whimsical and lore-ish like a random natural spring appearing, or a sink hole, or something like a fairy ring. Any resource in this tiny location, if it's ever found and anything is ever harvested during this totally random widow could have one of these weird imbuements.

Don't think they should be big gains, but something small and fun to make some items more tradeable.

Memories of pain was just a test of inheritance ability from tools/ingredients to product.
It already was used for variable food and curiosity such as bug collection.
I don't think there is any significant need to buff memories of pain itself - it is more trash than something that can buff.

My idea was not to give it just a huge boost, but to make a differentiation where it will give huge advantage and where - disadvantage.

Speaking about quality hit, how about this one:
Give nerf to effective quality under MOP to like 20%
And at the same time give 25% boost to any MOP weapon damage?

This way quality nerf will somewhat compensate weapon damage, yet making MOP weapons a bit better than regular ones.
For everything else it will be just terrible big time!

People already use weapon for fighting only and best tool for the rest so this is a meaningless explanation and still a boost which makes it mandatory to have this competitively

Yea, it just seem too easy to circumvent around, and just another tedium for newbies.
