That won't work in such a way ever.
Foragable curios should be like x100q better then crafted to make them worth studying, which will just make all crafted curios useless.
And is forage curios is just x2 buffed as they now - they still don't worth going out of the base, because you can't control they q and amount to properly plan your development.
The only way to make some balance is "Bug collection" - some big category of curios that consists of both cultivated and wild ingredients. It still could be made from wild only or cultivated only, but only combining both would grant you top-profit.
