Global Pools

The current global pool system encourages botting, if the per *exp cost went up as more people could see it you would see less glimmermoss bots and pearl bots.

The global pool system does not encourage or discourage botting. What encourages botting is that glimmermoss and pearls are strong items but they're tedious to find. Tedious work is bot work. It sounds like your suggestion would be more in favor of bots as all the bot makers would have to do is make sure their bots have the most per * exp and then all the good foragables are theirs. Also if you're a new player or starting late then go eat shit because you won't ever find glimmermoss or pearls because your exp * per would be so far behind. Also if you raise your exp * per to see the glimmermoss, more poeple can see glimmermoss so the exp * per level to see glimmermoss raises and now you can't see glimmermoss?

Youd also have to keep all your bots scaling with everyone else so it would discorage botting lol wouldnt be effiecnt to.

You act like that's some kind of challenge for organized people who bot to begin with. All this does it limit glimmers to a smaller population who will keep up with the scaling to try and monopolize it.

If its set so it just slowly creeps up than hunters and shit wont be able to see it and only dedicated foragers tbh which would be good n o one would make 50 alts to fuck with the sample size b.c not worth the time or investment lol

This. Just nerf the problem items so people don't "have to have it" going 24/7. Already too much crap in game that's just ignored because top tier players won't deign to touch it.

I think that instead of nerfing good items, they should buff bad items. I think character progression is already too slow which hurts the game a lot.

There will be always problem like that. Even in the best designed game You will have those more useless and those stronk af, as long as there is some sort of fighting in the game to stay relevant / on top. Nerf/change glimmermose, another pearl will appear. Nerf pearl, another crafted curio appear. And the circle keeps repeating.
