Opt out of realm

Postby shubla » Sat Apr 18, 2020 4:56 pm

Villages should be able to opt out of realms.
Like you could toggle buffs in the vclaim area off, but then the realm wouldn't get benefit from your xp.
24h cooldown for toggling to prevent abuse.

Why should they be able to do this?
It serves absolutely no benefit to the village.

This also completely undermines the mechanic of realm expansion, and just like real-life if a massive kingdom took over your land there is no way you would be able to simply opt out.

Just move your hearthfire underground if you don't want them to leech off your exp, unless that has changed.

I don't want some people to use all my xp to dig q150 well for themselves that they never share.

I wouldn't mind an option to not show kingdom chat though. I can ignore it, but it's the default chat window when I log in, and every time I see some cursing and abusive talk there. I don't like it.

Hey, maybe team up with Shubla here and get it added into the next update of his client...

And the way to combat this is to make a realm of your own.

If you are incapable then the part about what you ''want'' can go in the trash.

-1 makes no sense to be able to. Also no real benefit in doing so.
