Make drowning non lethal

As much as some part of me enjoys KOing people and breaking their boat out from under them, it really makes no sense that its pretty much the only way to actually die in pvp. The way Silver for the Ferryman behaves should just be the default thing that happens when you drown, but it should give you a decent chunk of asphyxiation along with the concussion damage. Silver for the Ferryman could just be changed to give you +swimming or something.

Im aware it's been discussed before, but it really should happen

You can only murder somebody if they also have murder enabled.
Against people that have no murder, murder only gives more HHP dmg, but that may be enough to kill them anyway.

That's what they should change. You should be able to use murder to kill any person KOed that has the murder skill. Enabled or not.

As for the not drowning, +1. It would make traveling through vortex with a damaged boat a viable option.

During most of w11 you permanently, 100% of the time lost KO protection if you bought rage. This applied to animals as well which was extremely inconvenient. As a result, most people never bought it and even with PvP people there was a strategy to always keep 30k LP around to only buy it when absolutely necessary.

I really wish the game were slightly more lethal, but it seems silly to only have methods to kill nabs, and no way to kill experienced players, no matter how hard you outplay them.

The actual strat was to make a Pclaim outside somebody's base, put a ram on it, then fight them using chin up. They had to have rage to aggro you, or you'd just ram down their wall. You could aggro them off of Pclaim if they tried to destroy the ram without fighting you. If you lose, you come back the next day and do it again. If they lose they die, and their base gets destroyed. I think I killed more relevant characters in world 11 without rage than any other world with rage.

Haha world 11 was some silly fun

if perma death is on then drowning should be a thing

but having drowning be some exclusive edge case for perma dying is retarded and pretty much every noob goes through this shit at least once, I'd bet a decent percentage of them dont come back

Just let KO'd players to HF from water and the problem is solved.
Also, the notification about logging out/hearthing should be made more visible.
