reconsider cheese racks softcapping

Dear devs,
Please consider removing quality on cheese racks acting as softcap. Wood already has a chance to softcap cheese twice in curding tubs and cheese tray's. And the curds actually doesn't even come in direct contact with the racks.
When this chnaged got added in w11 I could have understood it as a meaningfull wood material sink, except that there are already plenty of wood sinks, like pretty much half of people's crafted study reports, as well as the mentioned tubs and tray's.
On the practical aesthetic side, i'm mixing and using the good logs that i have and it leads to this blended mix of different colored racks. Just because we regularly have to upgrade and replace the lesser racks.
Now for the NEW development that changed since softcap on racks have been introduced: SEASONS!
Seasons shut down tree growing for a whole 3 irl weeks and it has it's impact on the cheese production which on it's own can take up to 2 - 3 weeks.
In light of this, can you consider?

I agree that cheese racks shouldn't be softcapping, wood is already sunk into building houses and furniture as well.

Last world, I stopped maintaining my cheese industry as soon as I've realized that I cannot have uniformly colored cheese racks if I want to preserve cheese quality. Pls revert this change in the name of all OCD kids. Thanks!

But removing this reduces the fun and interactive gameplay cheese racks provide!

+1 its fucking awful that racks have a quality that affects the cheese that it never actually touches.

It's pretty obvious the intent was to arbitrarily increase cheese tedium as a roundabout way of nerfing it via discouraging people from mass producing. This change has no anchor in logic, and is clearly tied to the grudge devs seem to have with cheese being the "end all be all" food. The problem with their philosophy is that given the amount of sheer time and effort cheese takes, what's wrong with it being the best food in the game? In addition, I'm not even sure that is factual anymore since we live in the age of orca and whale spiced 3 different ways giving 200+ feps per piece, and these items can be mass produced without a 2-4 week lead time.

+1 Cheese rack caps are dumb and lazy, don't nerf food by increasing tedium. Stop using tedium as your only lever.

Nah, it'll take Shubla to bot it, threaten to release the bot, and then they'll do something like add a random chance for mice to spawn near cheese and eat it unless you build 1000 mouse traps and refill the bait/rearm them everyday.
