Whenever anybody types in chat there is a new KNOCK noise like somebody smashing their enter key. Why was this even added?

The reason was that I revisited the chat sound and found it to be quite harsh and annoying. I imagined this to at least be less harsh, but I take it you disagree? You write as if there was no sound previously, though.

Any chance for a volume meter for this sort of thing?

Yeah, that should be lowered. That's harder to do without a restart though, so it'll have to wait until the next update.

Yes, there probably should be a volume meter for interface sounds.

Well, the previous was a quiet chime noise wasn't it? this is a very interupting knock. Idk, the old one I think was drowned out by everything else. Does the old one still exist somewhere so I can revert to that for my client?

I could hear the old sound from my headphones left in another room, while in kitchen.
