Empty jar made me die.

Really, you should do something for that interface, i was experimenting with alchemy, got lag while emptying a jar, and apparently i did not emptied it but drunk the swill for 140 damage...after that i tried to gain a tiny bit of constitution for not die, but in 8 fep all based on constitution by a wide margin, i got only 1 point, and died exactly at zero hp.

This, coupled to some of the new changes and, most of all, to the silly discovery stuff, that makes me run around for 3-4 days trying to "rediscover" all the stuff i found previously, to get back to the same level as before at least in what i can craft, sets up the entry level for those who do not wish to play in a village so high, that after such an event the player will probably leave.

I liked the new things to be found in the game, but honestly, i grew tired very soon as i found i had to make TWO mineholes before getting a bar of iron or bronze. Will probably stop for a while.

Should no longer be necessary since last April:

yeah...nice to know that it requires ancestral worship AND 5 numen points, so again either you live in a village where it's easy to come by for stuff to gain numen, or it's still a fall back of days running around gathering stuff.

Numen is based on objects seen in the world. Because the world is very early, most of the "rare/hard to find/not accessible for hermits" stuff hasn't been found. I got 3 tiers of claim protection (3/5/7 numen) basically just by spitroasting fish and picking tree seeds.

Beyond that: I refuse to deal with that jar interface for test elixirs. I script emptying them because of how dangerous they are. There should maybe be a second popup that requires additional confirmation if the damage exceeds your current HHP?

If you want a script for shubla client that empties all jars in your inventory let me know.

About the numen points: i would need to craft the altar thing, that iirc requires 4 wax...not exactly easy just to recover only the discoveries, wich you'll get anyway during the process of building the altar, the whole death thing around abilities and discoveries looks a bit autistic to me, there's really no need to punish a player like that, behind the loss of stat and LP wich seems already hard enough to me. I mean, what gain do the game have from such game design structures? Sometimes less is better, especially where less means also less frustration on the player.

Anyway, yes, the first thing that i thought when i saw alchemy was: why making empty and drink both in the same menu and both so easy to misclick, enough that i basically only use keyboard to access the flower menus? After all, alchemy already needs an awful LOT of work to be useful, and also needs specific instruments that are, again, mostly accessible only after hard metals...bah.

How about a toggle: allow / do not allow drinking potions.
