Palisades are still stupidly designed

If you have a palisade on a claim, you have only two options. You make a key for the palisade door, and then make a picket behind it, or else people can just open the door with vandalism and walk in to the cave he assumed was behind closed doors. GOTEM

Bob Dole assumed you couldn't do this stupid thing, and had no reason to think Jorbtar would leave this loophole in.

Why does this ugly picket fence behind every single gate seem like a more elegant solution than making unkeyed palisades unopenable with vandalism?

Edit: I also have no idea how they are doing this without cheats, but the evil dooers have characters fully logged out on the claim, and I watched one log in (On the fully active claim) before logging out again when he saw me. Jorb you should consider hiring these Russian cheaters on full time. With the Ukraine war they are struggling financially, while you are struggling to fix exploits. Seems like a mutual win.

Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

So you left a gate unlocked and people bashed your shit?

+1, not that it will matter anyway.

Wasnt there like ten patches in a row to stop gates and palisades from being messed with on a claim? Bob Dole wrongfully assumed one of those patches dealt with this pretty obvious oversight, his bad.

He didn't know the only play that you can make is making those ass ugly pickets on every single one of his doors or carry around 50 keys.

Turns out nothing was lost besides some hhp on my friends miner. Nothing was bashed either, and I still have access to all the mineholes.
The only issue atm is that there are hostile alts logged out on the claim, and using cheats they are able to log back onto the claim. Besides the blatant cheating, nothing of value was lost luckily.

Being able to fully log out, then fully log back into a hostile claim is cheating, because that is not supposed to be possible. It is supposed to force you to your hearthfire. There is no denying this is cheating.
