Jorbtar you guys underestimate the power of music

Good music is able to amplify even the shittiest of games, as is evident with Daggerfall
Please bring the guy that made this or somebody similar back, and have him write a whole score. You won't be sorry:

Bringing back more of this kind of music would do wonders for the game.

God this is the sort of music that you hear in your head when you wake up in the morning, sigh, and start playing again.

Its so iconic that friends I tricked into trying the game back in w7 remember these songs

To be sure, it's not so much that we underestimate it, and I too love Kaka's music, it's just that the game being kind of an ambient and often passive affair leaves me unsure how to fit music into it. Using it as actively as we did in Legacy often felt a bit too invasive to me. I think our current system of having small clips play as part of the background sound is the best we've had so far, and some of them obviously already are Kaka's music.

Would be interesting seeing an ambient soundtrack that varies biome to biome, can do key and register changes for above and below ground to create ambiance, and have each biome have a unique twist on the same overall minimal theme, but that all takes work and crafting. The more atmosphere creating but non-intrusive a soundtrack is the better imho.

I played Daggerfall music in the background while drunkenly exploring the other day, and it was really effective at keeping me engaged, especially as I destroyed some idiot's base.

My thoughts exactly.
