there's a reason world 10 was most people's favorite, and building/maintaining/protecting road isn't free :)

Didn't they make it last world so that traveling back to dock costs pretty much nothing?

Roads, when used within reason, make the game more fun. That extra 30 second walk to my cave entrance every single time adds nothing to the game experience; being able to skip the boring parts using roads is a good thing.

Instantly zipping around the entire world, though, is an entirely different matter.

You won't find much support from this from people that don't regularly interact with the crime mechanics of haven.
Should a mass crime spree be easier? perhaps

Na. If you travel to dock from halfway across the world with ~500 will it costs >100% weariness. It costing 1% would still be dumb, though.

if road weariness was taken from the authority of a claim that it had to be on instead and we had a perm system to use them with will lowering this cost. I would 100% be behind removing the cost by person as this mostly does little later on anyway.

Okay mr worldwide.
Lets be honest, we don't walk to our victim we use thingwalls.
They increase TW.
Higher TW gains are there to stop excessive crime across the continent.
