Hard pass on more fantasy creatures, but Yetti as a troll reskin, Dire animals, and some new dens I'm game for.

“here be dragons” implies the existence of Dragons. Add dragons

“But muh realistic setting no high fantasy” uhhh I seem to remember a fellow named Saint George slaying a dragon? According to Christian record of factual history? smh

Re-skinning a troll as a yeti isn't adding in any more fantasy creatures then we already have.

As where adding in goblins, hobgoblin, or bugbears would be adding a whole new phylum.

A Hydra on cave level 9 that grows more heads as you do damage to it. The more heads it has, the more attacks it makes. Right click with torch to burn it and prevent new heads from growing.

Yeti are Nepalese. Frost giants are a bit too modern. I'm sure there's more monsters from ancient Germanic folklore to use. I don't know enough to say, though. There's probably a reason why there aren't already kobolds.

Are there not mountain lions (leopards) already? I was sure my hearthling was chased into her house by one near the end of World 14. Must have just been a lynx that seemed bigger and blonder than it was, then.

There are lynx, and they look as silly as real life lynx lol

kobolds and goblins are honestly approaching intelligence. i like jorb's current design of dumb fauna. animals, creatures, monsters.
