Secluded ocean islands

I'm not sure if this has been suggested before, sorry if it has, but I couldn't find any post specifically about it, so here goes:

I suggest world generation to purposefully spawn some islands in the middle of deep ocean, completely separated from the rest of the world, containing new unique mini-biomes, which in turn, contain unique plants and animals.
These islands would not have the ability to spawn with a thingwall and thus can only be accessed by sailing there yourself, adding to the reward of progressing towards boats that have the ability to cross oceans.

I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts on this, as I love exploring the world myself.
Feel free to let your imagination flow and give some suggestions for the contents of these islands, I'll start with: Papaya trees.

Didn't this already exist this world, with Orange Trees being exclusive to small islands in the middle of the ocean? Of course it didn't work in practice because the islands ended up connected to shallow water so they could be reached Day 1.

As long as the content is semi-larpy and not needed for competetive progression (ie. obsidian is semi-REQUIRED and next world mountains will be hell in the first hours bcs of it) i think it'd be fine eh. Not a huge fan of swimming around the oceans for hours myself. Idk how worth it is to make content just for a specific island in the world instead of something more global tho.

I agree, just something extra to reward the player for having the ability to cross oceans. Not necessarily something you'd look for, but just more fun things to stumble upon while sailing the oceans.

I'm of the opinion that there should be dozens of secluded islands in the ocean. However there shouldn't be anything unique or interesting in them, literally just an optional way to try and play a single-player version of Haven.

Secluded isles could serve two main purposes:

1. Source of one-time small reward
2. PvP area HAHAHA DISREGARD THAT, I SUCK COCKS

1a) isles containing unique larpy content that can be discovered once per player and reproduced later (e. g. pot herbs, domestic birbs, papaya trees)
1b) thingwall isles. Visit those once and you'll have shorter/safer/alternative route during your next world-wide journey
1c) dev statue isles. Need moar of these

2) islands with extremely strong bonuses (about plus 50-200%) to long-term stationary productions (like tree farming). Big boi crew content here. Idea is to create relatively small areas with powerful initiatives for takeover and persistent occupation to build, protect and maintain certain immovable production infrastructure (unlike hit-and-run Natural Wonders). Bonuses could be like these:
   Farming
     crops quality
     trees grow speed
     animals breeding and maturing speed
     mound beds grow speed

   Processing
     bee skeps product quality
     tar kilns product quality
     frames drying speed
     cheeses curing speed
     smoking sheds product quality
