Suggestion: Peaceful Toggle

100,000 LP skill.
"Innocence Incarnate"

Enables a skill that's the opposite of murder. Has 30 second cast time.
When toggled on, your character receives X debuffs (LP reduction? FEP reduction?)

Character is marked by a tear drop, as opposed to murderous rage blood drop. Disables moves in combat.

Anyone can run up to you and steal your belongings straight off of you because your character refuses to do anything to defend itself. (You take turning the other cheek very seriously.)

However, damage dealt to SHP can never exceed MHP, thereby rendering you safe from execution as long as you've not accumulated sufficient wounds from successive KOs or other sources.

Should end hat or die and put reasonable cap on damage that peaceful players sustain from interactions with "foraging" raiders.

My thought, historically, is that something like that should permanently enable Literally Anyone to do something like Evict on you at any time and with minimal if any timer attached. Modestly mitigate PVP opt-out alt-abuse related issues, by making it inconsequential to make them fuck off by doing something like Right Click->Chase.

No doubt, though, we'd see something mirroring the retarded shit that people would do with flags but with 100000 unkillable alts standing 50 deep around your entire shit.

I agree with eviction. They could even put a mass evict command in to the client.

For those that aren't aware of PvP mechanics, they'd still be killable, it'd just require a couple KOs instead of an immediate execution which you currently get by hitting players (especially unarmored or low con ones) hard enough with a cleave.

The only thing that comes to mind is that they could stack these around thingwalls. But the 100k LP cost and the fact that they'll die by the third KO at the latest (40% grievous plus best possible concussion roll of 5% is still 45% HHP) should make that not worth the effort.

Oh I forgot that the difference in my idea was that it was a credo to make it more annoying to churn out non-pvp alts

Better idea tbh. Credo works well. It can be abandoned and is less abusable than an LP cost.

Only downside to credo is it's inheritable but whatever.

I'm sure there was some other post(s) that said it better. I apologize. But your ability to get the devs to make a change on suicide hunger resets proves that sometimes repetition works.

With this toggle, people would still die.
45% is best case scenario from a 40% grievous weapon, but 40% + 20% murderous rage + 20% max roll from concussion is still 80%.

The people running this skill are also not likely to have access to good alchemy to clear the wounds, nor would they necessarily be without other wounds.

Also, permadeath isn't necessarily bad. But right now it only exists for innocent players and hermits, not for faction PvPers.
