World 16.1 is about 5x speed rather than 3.29x, which means you need to eat almost twice as much, get almost twice as many curios, and generally be twice as active, to even have a chance to keep up.
Yeah it works fine if you like playing 16 hours per day, but I wouldn't be doing that even if I was in a wheelchair and without a job.
Some time ago you made satiations go up/down slower, but this 5x speed literally turned it back to the old worse one.
Mining pyres were added to slow down that rush to level 9 and allow slower/more casual players/players with a life to keep up, but now this 5x speed is kinda moving it backwards. I know it's a shorter world, but you could've also decreased the str requirement to mine at lower levels and also the material requirements of mineholes, rather than just making players grind stats at 2x speed. It was already stupid when people had to reach level 9 in 2 weeks by having a whole village force-feed a single miner character.
Don't get me started on the curiosity grind with the new speed, or animal taming requiring people from 4 timezones to always keep an eye on them.
Yes, you do need to adjust the speed of *SOME THINGS* when you make the world significantly shorter. Increasing the overall game speed is just retarded. The effort you need to put into grinding is just increased and the world is artificially shorter.
Whatever this is, I can't be arsed to do it lol
And I'm pretty sure 800 players active after less than a week was not caused just by you making it impossible to properly secure a caves during the first days. This speed crap has to be part of the reason at least.
