Is that 159 ql average?

My silk was never that high but I recall the damage to the table cloth being high and when you take into consideration the ingredients used to make it hardly seemed worth it.

Maybe the issue is more that the Saucier gives too much? Which I guess will be rectified when the metal qualities are reduced next world.

No it's only 59 average the numbers are just really close but I think it still gives better hunger reduction and more FEP bonus than any other two items combined that I don't have there already of course I'm not certain about that.

Too much fucking work though. Fuck tablecloth. Maybe if it was permanent I'd use it.

I think they were planning on adding ranger bow later on after they tweak the archery system some more. Also the silk ribbons were pretty awesome for 1 day when they changed the curio system. Nonetheless u are right, silk as is right now needs some buff, I've also suggested to make a separate container structure for silk worms, similar to chicken coops where you can throw leaves in as a separate fodder type that you can fill in advance which would last a long time and make production a lot easier. Can also make it that when you pull the cocoons out of the "silk coop" they will die automatically in a minute, just like if you pull the eggs out from under the chickens.

Do some housekeeping on your table and Polish the Silver.

Apart from that the OP is off in that you need to kill the cocoons, just boil them - takes about as long as cooking them.

And give us a dedicated structure to get away from cupboards everywhere, please.

It's not worth it, regardless. Easier to just spam metal symbel because bonfires are unbalanced.

The OP means that you can kill them to store them, and light the cauldron and do the whole crafting process at your leisure.

That'd be cool. Some sort of large cages or the like would be so much better. The current system is pretty dumb in the inventory management process.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In case jorb reads this, most of the stuff OP says is irrelevant now because of gilds and changes in the system. Silk equipment is mostly useless for fighter characters because it's usually better to spam cheaper cloth for fat gilds. Merchant robes are pretty rare on fighters because getting good gilds on them is really annoying and unnecessary because of all the changes to inventory space.

Silk Ribbon is pretty good because it's easy to get high q silk with just good trees. The exp cost is also pretty low, incase you don't get access to your realm's coffers. It's pretty expensive though, so it can easily take all your silk production.
