what else do you think is stupidly overpowered?
having a sword as opposed to not having a sword?
having armor vs not having armor?

remove tamed horses from the game XD
its stupid for combat, devs don't think of how can it affect other things such as combat in this case with updates like this xD
idk whatever kids fighting on horses is stupid xD they should be only used for travel, the horses should drop off the guy from the horse if someone aggros it like wild horses but they should be weaker xD cuz tamed horses should be more pussy than the wild ones xD
There was a wise soviet conscript that was surrounded by the enemy on the battle of Stalingrad. A mortar shot teared his pants apart causing a big hole in his pants right on his right butt cheek. He felt a glorious cold ass breeze of wind on his butt cheek, like it would be sent by stalin himself, he said - hide your butts

I think it's kind of funny you're complaining about the horse being too easy to knock out but not the player, these two things are related.

Because players put up defenses and horses don't? What are you talking about.

The damage dealt to a player, or a horse, or anything.

How does a horse stop an arrow even if it put some up?

horses should be taken out first when it's a cavalry battle imo
they should be a high value target. now if there were specific combat moves for cavalry that only work while on a horse then that'd be fine but should stem mostly from the horses stats

but how is the rider going to defend the horse? imo only through telling the horse to move out of the way, i'm curious how we defend while on a horse already. sidestep while riding?

Cavalry was always an offensive unit. Only shield up makes some sense, but only so much.

You guys (the ones saying 'horses are already too OP' and 'why would you buff horses') are retarded; did you even read the OP? The problem isn't that horses are too dominant in combat (that is a separate problem), but rather that horses are far too fragile for how dominant they are. Once you're off your horse you lose, so the side that can get their enemies off their horses first will win. When horses are fragile as they seem to be now, this is simply a matter of numbers as every fighter takes out one horse, meaning the more numerous side is the only one left with horses in the end. This situation cannot be avoided by playing well as there is currently no way to defend your horse.

That is the argument OP is making. I cannot confirm as I'm never in a group battle, but it seems like a sound argument.
