Well right now on a good archer character you can aim down a line and cover the area so if anyone crosses it he will most likely get killed. I think the optimal solution would be so that, when the aim meter reaches it's peak, it stays there for maybe 3 seconds then starts going back down again , so you can't secure an area for instakill to any living soul that passes there.

Ya that's how it would be in real life. Your aim and draw would reach its peak and then go back down again. The Strength Skill and your Marksman would effect the length of time the bow can be drawn for before the meter goes back down. Perception and Marksman would effect your accuracy (and if they make it so your character auto points towards the target, Perception and Marksman would also effect the negation to the moving target penalty to accuracy).
