honestly, why do we use such a huge tool for plants other than barley? like how are we using a two handed scythe to efficiently harvest grapes, peas, or hops? or worse yet; carrots, beets, and onions...

let me just grab my scythe to harvest the carrot/beet/onion field faster. the scythe was originally a place holder, right? it will be redesigned at one point, right?
