Idea for noobs

I think we should punish murderers more. Like, for ever murder you commit, you receive a permanent wound. Vandalism and theft would also leave wounds, and they'd be extremely slow to heal. This would cause criminal scum to cripple their characters and allow nabs to have a chance to fight back when they're weak from all their wickedness.
“We still, alas, cannot forestall it-
This dreadful ailment's heavy toll;
The spleen is what the English call it,
We call it simply, Russian soul.”

An idea to consider: Tedium, a Feature.

Excellent idea Onep! With the current game
mechanics, it is simply impossible for newbies
to fight back against raiders and murderers.
When your hard-hit-points (HHP) get to a
certain point from these grevious/wicked
wounds, their player-model's tone should be
discolored, in order for newbies to differentiate
between guardians of the peace and nefarious
rogues.

Please keep all posts related to the
thread Burinn, but for your information...
I am trying to keep the previous rogues
in mind. Once the past is forgotten, then
the present is lost.

To stay on topic, maybe you should re-
implement the "baby blue eyes" buff from
previous haven. While constructing your
village, it will protect the newbie from
animal attacks, leaving them free to build
to their heart's content!

hey i am glad to see someone else on the same wave length as me.
i posted in the mammoth ice cream thread previously about protecting hermits and peaceful players from pvp and mammoths so they may better enjoy the game. i really like your idea about putting them in a different safe area, but i think it would cause way too many problems if they could just land wherever they want when they are ready. what do you think. it's a big exploit imo. anyway i came up with a solution hope you enjoy.

here you can see the hermits and peaceful people enjoy the game from the safety of the sky. they can take an angel down to the mainland to protect them while they forage if they need to. otherwise they can stay on their floating island/castle. this will help keep the violence downstairs while hermits and peaceful people can do their own activities without being
worried.

I think maybe this is not good idea for pvp gaming.

Back on topic, I think there has to be a debit of $1.50 (Canadian) on your haven account for every murder you commit, and that money should go the stoneless noobs support fund. Frequent murderers receive a special discount according to the new haven loyalty program, and when your mileage is high enough you can choose to trade your points for a fully statted character or a LC of glow-in-the-dark galena.

Those guys don't honestly mean a single word they say, dude, a moderator just told them they can keep trolling if they pretend they are serious. Sooo... yeah, these are just "xperienced players" being elitists and making fun of anyone who's new to the game.
