If someone could explain to me how the current system wherein crafting removes water from waterflasks in your inventory before buckets in your hand, I'll rescind suggestion.

Why would someone carry two buckets of water, that's dumb as hell. Just use cbs like normal people...

If you're a beginner and don't have access to tea, you are most likely don't mind to have water for crafts to be taken from your flask or waterskin (or you may pick it up to redefine the priority before crafting). If you have different types of water for different tasks and carry multiple containers in your inventory (which makes resetting priority via picking up inventory container impossible), you're most likely developed enough to have access to tea, so it would, indeed, be an acceptable workaround.

But don't you see how tiny this problem is, and how insignificant is this bit of automatisation you've spent 2 pages no the forum to argue about? Why not ask for a button to "craft all stuff at once", that would be even more convenient?

The priorities in this game are strange and seemingly not logical altogether (picked up things are placed in the inventory starting from upper left corner, but used for crafts from lower right corner etc), but this is how things are, and changing water usage prioritization will change a lot of other things that most players are already used to.

If the issue is so frustrating you spend so much time on the forum discussing it, I'd suggest you empty your flasks before crafting or carry just one and reset the priority picking it up when the game decides it's gonna youse your "bad" water from the flask first.

Or, how about, maybe, paying attention when you craft something? I dunno, that works for me.

I agree with my good friend burinn and you are retarded if you are arguing otherwise. It should prioritize the most recent item, including an item in a hand slot. This is just good and consistent design.

This could very well be a motto for many, many people here.

The design may be "inconsistent", but it's well known and manageable. Inventory goes first, that's a given. The inconvenience with different water qualities is so minor it's not worth arguing about, retarded or not. There are a lot of ways to avoid the problem with a couple of low level pastries, the most obvious one being "actually paying attention to the game you're playing at the moment".

I do not think this problem requires re-developing priority mechanics.

That is why we should have a tool belt to hold (amongst others) a vessel reserved for drinking.

Nobody is saying that it is a high priority to fix it. We all understand that there is a workaround.

The point is that it is objectively bad design in its current state.

Well it would be much more comfortable if my hotkey flask would not get empty immediately once I start dough. Leave alone quality, hotkey flask is supposed to be drink-only water. Tea is the solution but char do not stop drinking when stamina is full, and it case a tea waste.
