It wouldn't be so stale if there were seasons forcing us to change our playstyle every month.

I agree that it would be a design flaw even though this game has had some of the most meaningful exploration ive seen in a game in a long time i really think you guys should reduce the randomness of finding things and instead do something that is more deliberate to me the randomness makes exploring more dull doing something you guys may want to consider doing some sort of tracking system where you have to track down whatever resource you are looking for you could use a similar system to the crime scents where youd follow a scent of the resource youre looking for and then eventually youd be rewarded with a larger amount of that resource you could make the resource tracking like a puzzle or something or make random events happen during the tracking so as to make it more difficult i could go into more detail if you want but my real goal is to inspire some development on the scavenging and hunting systems
longer waits + bigger payoffs = meaningful interaction
