As far as I'm aware, the devs had considered this, but the thought of people farming alts to eat them was a bit terrifying.

...I'm not sure how effective making an alt with 300 str = 15 str feps would be, but, uh, alright.

I did emphasize it was FEPS, right? Not the actual stats.

I did read your post correctly, I think, yes. I found a quote from an older thread (linked thread below)

TeckXKnight wrote:Jorb had discussed this in the old forum around world 4 or 5. The concern was that players would harvest alts for meat and that prospect horrified him.

I'm not too sure I understand the logic behind "farming" alts for stats if they only give FEPs and not raw stats

Might have been different in legacy maybe

This was before stat-caps, it would have actually been efficient for high stat charcters.

I can't even believe you all like the idea of cannibalism ... skulls, I get it, I like the skulls, lol, but eating the meat ... :?

didn't expect this to turn into a discussion to bring cannibalism in the game, but if thats what the community needsxD

make that you can make sausages at the meatgrinder from people bodies and the sausage would give feps depending on the stats that the character had xD
There was a wise soviet conscript that was surrounded by the enemy on the battle of Stalingrad. A mortar shot teared his pants apart causing a big hole in his pants right on his right butt cheek. He felt a glorious cold ass breeze of wind on his butt cheek, like it would be sent by stalin himself, he said - hide your butts

"The stats character had" wouldn't work with sausages, or even roast: the resulting item's FEPs are only affected by quality of ingredients so that would require a completely different mechanic. And to gain the power of a vanquished enemy one should consume the flesh raw, drink blood hot, and eat heart still beating, duh.

Also on the subject,

Maybe your skull will give more LP/stats when buried or when ONLY YOU study it when your account is verified or subbed.
Total misplay.

That's actually deserves some consideration on the devs' side, 'cause if a person is subbed, that means, he intends to stay longer, so maybe he deserves the perma-death to be, cough, less "perma-".

Although, the evil twin in my head says that all the means to "restore" your fallen character, be it burying/inheriting, using salt/icicles are bad for the game and kinda kill the idea.

Your evil twin has the better ideas to me.
