If I say that you're dense, that is an attack. If I state that I think you need something meaningful in your life, that's an honest fact I reveal, without intention to insult you. I do think so. You can try and change it with arguments, you can ignore that (don't let other people's opinions rule your life), but if you take that as an insult - you're wrong. The key difference is the purpose. You're throwing half-masked insults at me because you want to push me off-balance. I've made some research about "waifu" and stated that I consider it being an unhealthy thing that poorly substitutes to real and meaningful things. I said that because I think so, with a purpose to maybe make someone reconsider his priorities.

You see? As always in our productive conversation, the difference is subtle. And it will all be in Hel before long, anyways.
