I have only q1600 flint.
I'm tired of discussing this with you guys, while you defending this shit.
I'm not talking about insta lightening with 0 stamina, only making it in such way so that I am guaranteed able to light one thing on first try.

No, please continue. We are very enlightened by your educated wording and description of your problem.

On a more serious note: What the hell are you doing to fail that often? I barely need a second try on making a firebrand and i never needed a third one. You are acting like it is black magic to light a fire.

Just make some steel! Its easy! Only fueling every 10-12 hours or so for 48 hours

Lets say you make 10 crucibles of shitty steel. Use relatively good flints and you easily get atleast q40 flint & steel. They are 20 uses / piece and you can make 50 of them, thats 2000 fires lit.
If on average takes 300% energy for you to lit fire and lots of time, lets say 1½ minutes for each fire lit. You would save 600000% energy and 48 hours of time litting fires. By fueling crucibles like 5 times, which takes maybe 15 minutes at the most combined.

i never needed a third one

You are either lieing or then you have only lit few fires in your hnh career.

Tinder drills were one of the worst additions to the game.

Probably the most annoying, disruptive thing in the game atm. Please change/fix this, simply not a fun mechanic, quiet the opposite really. At least just make the minimum time longer, failing at 20% multiple times makes me literally not want to play the game.
Ohhh that's how I make a sig, cool

I really enjoy this addition to the game...things such as tinder drills make you feel the survival aspect better, we need more of them...where you need to take your time to accomplish a job...for example the flour production needs one more step: harvest, threshing and then milling....i would like to see threshing too ( and it needs a lot of energy without a machinery).....many others can be added to the game

If by survival you mean wanting to kill yourself, then yeah, sure.

QQ moar. Fun mechanic, would love to do more like it, also there's both Kindle and Flint & Steel if you really can't be bothered.
