The combat should never have changed, like Dota that was ported 1:1 to a new engine.

games shouldn't change too much, imagine someone playing a game for for example 2 years then a very big change is made and this person doesn't like the game as he did before or even leaves just because of this, there should be votes at least

This is alpha version still, devs can do whatever they want. Legacy combat was nothing but 40-minutes-chase, i cannot see how can anyone love that.

yes true but could be a thing if disabled only when other person is aggroed cause sometimes it takes more time to do something or travel

I agree that the legacy combat can be fixed too, but devs just decided to make new system. I can see their point, and the community can see it, it just takes too much time to create

Actually i think it would be pretty good if devs will cooperate with 4-8 most known fighters and work out the combat system. Just implement core ideas -> test live on a small group -> gain feedback -> retry if not enough. At least we will have the good core system that can be polished later without possibility that it will thrown away

Pretty much as they did with Test Valhalla server, but the system there wasn't very good from the start, all the tweaks done by "small group of testers" didn't help much.

No, they spend a lot of time to crystalize the idea, polish it, then made test server and were dissapointed. The key idea is that they should throw a lot of ideas into people who are smart enough to see how the system will look at the end just based on the core elements.

I didn't target devs. I meant that people in the focus group will not cry "OMG THERE ARE ONLY 4 COMBAT MOVES AND I DON'T LIKE THE DESCRIPTION FONT" but provide constructive feedback.
