A quest that led to a pearl would make farming for a pearl pointless unless the quest was super rare.

If u collected a bit of mussels u would see how easy it is to get pearls manually, so must be even easier and a lot more efficient with few bots!

I disagree. Pearls are rare to the extend you need to grind to get more than just a few. And I welcome a debuff on anything that's grindy and botable.

I have probably upwards of 20 cabinets in the basement of my hall with mussels in them waiting to be cooked by my cook. The last time we got a pearl it took eat least 40 cabinets worth before we got one. They're not easy to get.

Maybe add rare things that people would want, only from quests?

Like how endgame, most things can be botted or bought, make it so you'd have to trade with people with certain things from quests if you wanted them, like rare items for special armors or weapons.

This would increase trade with newbs and such, because a noob might pull some good shit from a quest, and because item sinks are dumb ways to get noobs to work for end-game players.

Gilding leafs already exist. They can be really good, and you have to grind quite a bunch to get right type ones.

Another suggestion

When your at 0% hunger, the hunger reducing quests should increase a satiation instead.
