That must be custom client only, guess I'll have to try that

Edit: Wow, life is immediately way better
Edit2: Even eating berries isn't as bad when you don't have to click, move mouse, click again (and can mass drop the inedible ones)

:D ...

I do think you are correct in that there is not enough in-game information about what you are supposed to be doing, how to move forwards past a certain point and I think more information about how skills and crafting work would be beneficial, on the other hand we all managed to work it out and find the info we needed, but, I do think that that and the issue of the unplayable default client does actually lose us a lot of potential future players.
Quests have helped somewhat with that but do not go far enough imo and the eat until you restore energy should be amended somewhat, that is enough to make you quit the game on it's own, lol and although you don't have to do the quests and can remove them from the screen a lot of new players are not going to be aware of that initially.

As Shubla said though the devs are continuously working on improving the game and these issues are on the list, there was once a time without quests at all. :)

These are issues raised by a new player. It doesn't matter if a custom client solves them of if there's a player-made guide somewhere: new players don't know that, and they don't have to know.

If new players are wanted for the game, the game must be made straightforward for them. Just making an account and clicking the "play" button is great. But what is being said is "look, if you want to experience this game to the fullest, you'll have to manually install a third-party software (no safety guaranteed inb4 keylogger) and read an incomplete guide somewhere since there are no in-game books or comprehensive tutorials".

That's a lot of extra steps people who are just curious about the game are expected to take if they want to try it. I think taking this kind of feedback seriously might be healthy for the player count.

Pathfinding seems to be the single big complaint here.

Thanks in any event.
