I mean you can split flour though. bad example. This addition to the game would just make things EASIER not possible. That's why its not such a high priority addition to the game but a low one.

^what he said

Not even close to a worthwhile suggestion, really. Not aggressively terrible like the average shublapost but still a waste of time

Ok, maybe flour was bad example, but that doesn't invalidate the point at all.

Let me give more examples:
Batter, rustroot extract, swill, maplesap, birch sap, honey, tar, vinegar... The list goes on and on, basically, most liquids. Do you guys even play this game?
I have seen multiple times people asking whether there is way to split liquids, and it's pretty dumb that there is not, because something like that would be very handy utility which is not that difficult to add.

perhaps pouring a liquid with a certain key pressed should pop up a message asking how much liquid you want to pour and work like this with any liquid container but otherwise just pour as much as possible(like it works now) when you do not press the key? - I think that if it worked this way it would be pretty comfortable

the idea is good because it would allow you to move certain amount of fluids without having to craft a lot of various-sized liquid containers just to move some specific amount of liquid between two containers, it would also save you a lot of clicks that you would otherwise have to perform if you wanted to do this

I guess something like shift right clicking with a container to choose the amount may work as well.
