Improve, optimize and Polish the game/client + Remove bots,alts customs clients and other craps...then sell the game for 15$(b2p), 30 days free trial or stats cap, 30$ dollars if you want to support devs and having some convenience + beauty shoppe.
Once this game will have WASD and proper features appealing the odiern pubblic it will sell a lot, perhaps even on Steam.
Then with that money keeping to experiment/improving the game...

Remove bots,alts customs clients and other craps

Well Stat caps have been removed iirc, and custom clients aren't an issue really. Custom clients are more for the "Hobbyist" Hafen player, they don't offer any bonuses other than quality of life really. However they do offer an advantage over someone playing on the default client, and that's where the issue comes in.

There are a number of people I bet that aren't forum dwellers, that don't think of coming to the forums to explore for Custom Clients, and then if they do, they have issues like "Install 64-Bit Java" to make it run. 64-bit Java isn't the norm. You have to dig a little bit to find the 64-bit offline Java executable on the website. Then uninstall your current version of Java, re-install 64-bit Java. Not to mention the number of other little bugs and issues that come along with it.

Custom Clients are fine to be in the game for the hobbyist that likes to mess around with stuff like that. But for the common player, there isn't a big "Play" button at the top of the window for no reason, and a lot of times, people click that instead of browsing on the forums first.
