A more "casual" PvP vision

I am a casual player and a peaceful scrub. Yet, stats and quality grinding would be way more meaningful for me, if I could go out and test them against another equally inexperienced peaceful scrub. Not the "superheroes" that I stand no chance against. I don't mind staking my gear and something like 10% of my stats - that I could recover in a few weeks of playing, but not in a few months.

And because all other peaceful scrubs think the same, pvp here is mainly an end-game content for no-lifers. This is my impression - will be happy if somebody proves me wrong.

Update: PvP for me is being that guy in sprucecap in Ozzy's glorious video, except for I won't last that long.

Maybe we can have a consensus of the peaceful shrubs's voice about it :) .
The vast majority of communication with others are not just words; it is also diction, body motion, and many other factors. Even doing nothing is communication in itself. The moment your eyes meet someone, you have initiated contact. In essential, it is a constant non-stop flow between two or more entities.

It's also a great example of how bad he actually is at combat, 2v1 and he had to fast forward the chase to still make it a 3 minute video and dude being chased was at least attempting to fight back for some time.

It just goes to show that all these guys really have going for them at some point is better stats and gear than the people they are going around killing and an extra person or two on top of that to ensure their survival, their skill itself is severely lacking I can assure you. Yet they still try to dictate the type of players that should be giving suggestions.

Reality check for those who didn't notice but removal of stat caps has done nothing to improve the combat situation.

I had no trouble understanding the current combat system. It's just that tactics of a player are much more complex than tactics of a bear.

I always felt pvp would be more accesible by the scrubs and casuals if it was similar to runescape pvp

here's my thoughts:
if a player attacks another player, they get skulled, becoming the aggressor. if a skulled player dies, their character dies.
player who are attacked but arent skulled die and respawn at their hearthfire with no items.

pve results in death regardless of skull or not.

of course this presents its own set of problems, but at least scrubs wouldnt have to worry about getting ganked anymore, they just lose some items.
Have a question? Need help? Tired of people asking questions? Haven and Hearth Wiki.

Run around, build some IP, keep your openings down, build some more IP, bide your time until you FINALLY get an opportunity to double opp knock, lose anyways because opponent has 10x your stats.

This is actually a pretty good idea, it would be good if the attacker had like a 1 month long cooldown later so if any1 else aggroes him he will be kill-able aswell.

I like this idea.
