To accommodate both folks who want world reset, and folks who don't want world reset, Islands should be implemented first. I can image having multiple islands with different island-specific event:
- No-Event-Island / Main island: no world reset event, but there are caps to generated things (such as soil, water, animal Q)
- Event-Island-No-Wipe. An example would be Combat Island(s): contains high Q mobs. Also contains triggered event where mobs become more aggressive & spawn rate increases. These mobs would run around the islands in groups and destroy / kill everything on sight. We can have different island for different mobs such as Troll / Mammoth, or we can have 1 island with all the mobs.
- Event-Island-Wipe. An example would be Volcanic Island: contains high Q stone people make mines. Volcano would erupt either every once in a while, or based on an event being triggered, which would wipe everything on the island.

Cool...i didn't know that...and what happened? Did players fight to save or to reset the world or Devs have done that? I wasn't playing during that period..
A quick summary would be much appreciated....

End or world building is built, well protected.

Final 24/7s devs blow away the protections.

People show up kill the makr, replace them on the alter.

Small fights happen, devs summong trolls to keep the end of the world happening anyway. people kill trolls, so devs summon an army of bears and mroe trolls, cause the map grind to shift hights to keep the tension up. They fix it just in tiem for the world to end.

theres always some crazy shit happening at the end of the world

my idea of new worlds was that people can move onto new realm via a portal but they cannot go back to the old world then :(

These are all great ideas on paper, but really, we need tens of thousands of players to make them work. Until then... /shrug
