Bark as roof material or Living Roofs

At the local viking castle area they show how the vikings used dirt for the lower part of many buildings to isolate. I know that the Inuits lived in turf houses for heat preservation (the Igloo is their version of a tent that they dont have to carry with them)

Could see some more thatching being fun, but also somewhat loathe to go too whole hog on houses while we still have no freeform building. Will consider.

Freeform houses will have roofs too, no? Don't see why thatch textures can't be reused for those.
